This years event will once again be an individual event. Anglers will fish 5 matches and again this will be on a measure and return basis with no size limit. There will be a bonus pairs section with names drawn from a hat (just for the extra bit of banter) Entry to the winter league will be £15 per angler, payable 1 week before the commencing of the league. (By 15th Nov 08) Anglers will pay £10 per match, prize money will be up for grabs at the end of each match and also at the end of the league. This is made possible again because of Eric Mclean’s continued support with sponsorship for this event. Over all final results will be made up of each anglers 4 best results from the 5 matches fished. Longest bag in the zone will be awarded 1 point, 2 points for second and so on. The angler with the lowest total points at the end of the league will be the winner. Again this year there will be two zones in each match, anglers will be competing against other anglers in their zone only. The zones each angler will be fishing in will be decided once all entry fees have been submitted (by 15th Nov08). Every effort will be made to ensure both zones are seeded fairly.
